Shreveport Brand Manager – Full Time
Shreveport, LA and surrounding areas
Position Overview
The Brand Manager plays a key role in building brand awareness and driving sales for Great Raft Brewing throughout the Shreveport market. This role executes off-premises sampling events and on-premise promotions, introduces consumers to Great Raft's flagship and seasonal beers, and helps grow the brand's presence at retail accounts, bars, and restaurants as new releases roll out throughout the year.
Essential Duties
• Execute off-premises product samplings at retail accounts — grocery, liquor, and specialty stores — to drive consumer trial and sales.
• Represent Great Raft Brewing at on-premises events, including bar takeovers, tap parties, festivals, and other promotional events.
• Sell in and promote Great Raft's flagship and seasonal beers as new releases roll out throughout the year.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail buyers, bar and restaurant managers, and on-premise staff to secure sampling opportunities, features, and event placements.
• Educate consumers, retailers, and on-premise staff about Great Raft's beers, brand story, and company culture.
• Set up, break down, and transport sampling and event equipment (tables, tents, coolers, glassware, signage).
• Track and report on sampling and event activity, account visits, and consumer feedback.
• Understand and maintain legal compliance when serving and sampling alcohol.
• Engage consumers via social media in coordination with the marketing team, maintaining legal compliance.
• Monitor local market and competitor trends, sharing insights with the sales and marketing team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum six months of customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations.
• Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer and knowledge of brewing and beer industry fundamentals.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capacity to handle difficult situations professionally.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, and driving required.
• Ability to work both indoor and outdoor events in varying weather conditions.

Brand Ambassador – Part Time
Shreveport, Louisiana
Employment Type: Part-time, approximately 12–18 hours per week, primarily Thursday through Saturday

Position Overview
Great Raft Brewing is looking for a part-time Brand Ambassador to introduce customers to our beer through off-premises samplings and on-premise events across the Shreveport market. This role is primarily Thursday through Saturday and is built for someone who picks things up quickly. You'll need to learn Great Raft's flagship and seasonal brands inside and out so you can speak to them confidently and get customers excited to try something new.
Essential Duties
• Staff off-premises samplings at retail accounts — grocery, liquor, and specialty stores — pouring and talking through Great Raft's beers with customers.
• Represent Great Raft at on-premises events, including tap takeovers, festivals, and bar/restaurant promotions.
• Learn and retain detailed knowledge of Great Raft's flagship and seasonal brands — style, ingredients, and story — well enough to answer customer questions on the spot.
• Sample and talk up new seasonal releases as they roll out, helping build early excitement and trial.
• Engage customers directly, reading the room and tailoring recommendations for what they're looking for.
• Set up, break down, and transport sampling equipment (tables, coolers, glassware, signage).
• Follow all state and local rules for alcohol sampling and service.
• Report back on samplings and events — turnout, customer feedback, and what's resonating.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Available to work most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, including some evenings.
• Quick learner who can absorb product details and speak about them naturally and confidently.
• Outgoing and comfortable striking up conversations with customers they've never met.
• Genuine interest in craft beer; prior beer, hospitality, or customer service experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from event and sampling locations.
• Dependable and punctual — shows up prepared and on time for every shift.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work both indoor and outdoor events in varying weather conditions.
• Local travel to sampling and event locations within the Shreveport market.
