Now Hiring - Tasting Room Manager

We’re hiring! We are looking for an experienced tasting room manager to help run our tasting room. The right candidate will have management experience in the food / beverage industry, and is passionate about beer and maintaining a unique and positive customer experience. 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Experience & Service

  • Ensure all guests have a positive and welcoming experience in the Tasting Room

  • Uphold high standards of service and hospitality in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

  • Serve as a knowledgeable, enthusiastic brand ambassador with a strong understanding of beer styles and the brewery’s offerings

Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Lead, train, and support Tasting Room staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment

  • Possess the ability to effectively teach, coach, and develop fellow teammates

  • Coordinate and communicate weekly scheduling 

  • Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to staff to ensure a strong focus on guest relationships and excitement for beer

  • Must be a team player and able to interact with all levels within the organization

  • Display strong and professional verbal and written communication skills

  • 1+ years experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or bar

Operations & Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations of the Tasting Room, including opening and closing procedures

  • Manage inventory levels for beer, merchandise, and other supplies, coordinating reorders as necessary

  • Process, coordinate, and ship all online merchandise sales

  • Routinely lift items over 50 lbs (e.g. kegs, cases, supplies)

  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across the space

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all on-site events, beer releases, and private bookings

  • Collaborate with management, non-profits and other community partners to promote events and build excitement

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage daily sales reports, analyzing for errors or trends, and make recommendations to leadership as needed

  • Deposit cash and credit card receipts on a daily basis

  • Support Tasting Room budget goals, including labor and supply costs

  • Use POS systems and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement

Availability & Flexibility

  • Must have full-time availability, including weekends and some evenings
