Great Raft Brewing Homebrew Challenge

Great Raft Brewing is pleased to announce its first homebrew challenge. Qualified participants will have an opportunity to win gift cards, beer and merchandise. A tasting party will be hosted on Sunday, November 9, where winners will be announced and homebrew entries will be shared. Food and homebrew will be provided. See below for details. Happy Brewing!

Registration Deadline: Friday, September 19th, 2014 (CLOSED)

Wort Pickup Date: Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at Great Raft between 11 am - 2 pm

Registration
Quantity of wort will be limited, so please email Ross (ross@greatraftbrewing.com) to register and guarantee your 5 gallons of wort. Registration is closed!

Wort Pickup
Wort pickup will be between 11 am - 2 pm on Saturday, September 27th. Check in at the front desk of the brewery, and someone will take you to get the wort.

Beer Submission:
Finished beer should be submitted for judging on Saturday, November 1 between 12-8 PM.  Six 12oz bottles of beer must be submitted, along with a submission form.

What You Need to Know
Participants will be required to bring with them a cleaned-and-sanitized 5-gallon fermentation vessel with a lid at the time of wort pickup. Common vessels include buckets, carboys (please use extra caution when handling glass carboys) and Cornelius kegs.

Brewers may add whatever ingredients they wish to their beers, we just ask that you keep detailed notes of your brewing process.

On Sunday November 9th, 2014 come join us at The Shop from 1-5 to sample all of the homebrew submissions and vote for your favorite. Homebrew, food and music will be enjoyed beginning at 1 PM, and winners will be announced at 4 PM.
