Great Raft Brewing Announces East Texas Launch
Shreveport-based Great Raft Brewing, will introduce its products to East Texas markets starting in mid-November. The distribution partnership with R&K Distributors means that Texan craft beer enthusiasts can soon enjoy Great Raft’s beers in Jefferson, Longview and Marshall, down south to Nacogdoches and as far west as Tyler and Sulphur Springs.
“We are excited to share our beers with our patient fans and new consumers alike in these markets,” said co-founder and President Andrew Nations. “East Texans visit us at the brewery quite a bit, and have been very vocal about their desire to get Great Raft beers a little closer to home. We’re happy to finally have the capacity to be able to do that.”
Reasonably Corrupt™ black lager, Southern Drawl™ pale lager and Commotion™ pale ale, Great Raft’s original, flagship beers, will be available on tap and in cans throughout the East Texas markets beginning the week of November 14. Seasonal and small-batch offerings will be selectively available as well.
“R&K Distributors is proud to be partnering up with Great Raft Brewing in East Texas. Their reputation for brewing quality beer has been known for quite some time, and we are excited to finally bring their beers to our East Texas consumers,” said John Martin, President of R&K Distributors.
Great Raft’s expansion plans will continue with additional Texas counties in 2017.
To celebrate the launch of Great Raft Brewing’s beers, craft beer drinkers will be able to join the owners and sales team of Great Raft Brewing at a variety of specialty events throughout each market.
