Great Raft Baton Rouge and Northshore Rollout - Launch Week Schedule

 

Monday, 8/3 – The Chimes Baton Rouge (Highland) – 7 PM

Join Andrew and Lindsay Nations, founders of Great Raft Brewing, at The Chimes in Baton Rouge to enjoy a selection of Great Raft beers, on tap in Baton Rouge for the first time.

Beers on tap:

  • Southern Drawl – pale lager
  • Commotion – pale ale
  • Reasonably Corrupt – black lager
  • Grace and Grit – double IPA
  • At Arm’s Length – india pale lager
  • Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Mad Joy – Baltic porter aged in bourbon barrels

Tuesday, 8/4 – Barley Oak, Mandeville – 7 PM

Join Andrew and Lindsay Nations, founders of Great Raft Brewing, at Barley Oak in Mandeville to enjoy a selection of Great Raft beers, on tap on the Northshore for the first time.

Beers on tap:

  • Southern Drawl – pale lager
  • Commotion – pale ale
  • Reasonably Corrupt – black lager (cans)
  • At Arm’s Length – india pale lager

Wednesday, 8/5 – The Chimes, Covington – 6 PM

Brewer Harvey Kenney will join Andrew Nations to lead a Hop Head Symposium – an educational tasting of four Great Raft hop-forward beers.

$10 tickets are available at The Chimes Covington location. Participants will also receive a souvenir Great Raft IPA glass.

If you don’t want to participate in the symposium, the following will be available for purchase at the main bar. Those with an * beside them will be included in the sypmosium.

  • Dry-Hopped Southern Drawl – dry-hopped pale lager *
  • Commotion – pale ale
  • Grace and Grit – double IPA *

Thursday, 8/6 – The Bulldog, Baton Rouge – 5-7 PM

Join members of the Great Raft Brewing team, including Chief Brewer Harvey Kenney, to try a variety of Great Raft year-round and seasonal beers.

  • Reasonably Corrupt – black lager
  • Grace and Grit – double IPA

Thursday, 8/6 – City Pork, Baton Rouge – 8 PM

Join Chef Sean Rivera from City Pork and Chef Jay Ducote from Bite and Booze (and Season 11 of Food Network Star) for this 5+ course beer dinner. The menu is inspired by the Great Raft beers, several of which are brewed in the German lager style.

  • What: Great Raft Brewing Launch Week Beer Dinner at City Pork
  • When: Thursday, August 6th, 2015, 8 PM
